Our alarms are monitored by UL-listed, TMA 5 Diamond redundant monitoring centers - the highest industry certification for professional monitoring.
What warranty do you offer on equipment?
SoSmart offers a lifetime warranty on residential sensors. Specific product warranties vary by item - your tech will review coverage at install.
Can I control everything from one app?
Yes. Security, cameras, smart locks, thermostats, lighting, garage doors, and more are all controlled from a single unified app that also works with Alexa and Google Home.
Do you do commercial work?
Yes - commercial cameras, access control, and structured cabling for businesses of any size.
Do you partner with home builders?
Yes. Our Builder Program covers pre-wire, low-voltage rough-in, and smart-home packages for Oklahoma home builders.
How do I request service as an existing customer?
Open the SoSmart app, tap Menu, then Support - from there you can call us, search documentation, or file a ticket. You can also use our online Work Request Form.
What is Two-Way Voice?
Two-Way Voice lets our monitoring center talk directly to someone in the home through the alarm panel when an alarm is triggered - no need to pick up a phone. Think of it as a hands-free speakerphone built into your security system. In a real emergency, seconds matter, and this lets responders confirm the situation and dispatch the right help faster.
How does the lifetime warranty work?
While you are monitored by SoSmart, we provide a lifetime warranty on all of our residential security sensors. You never pay a service fee just to have a sensor replaced. Warranty coverage on other equipment (panels, cameras, smart devices) follows the manufacturer's terms, and your technician will walk through what's covered at install.
How do I get a discount on my home insurance?
Most home insurance carriers offer a discount for having a professionally monitored security system. We provide every customer with a Certificate of Installation at hand-off. Take it to your insurance agent and they can apply the discount, which is typically 5 - 20% off depending on the carrier.
Do I need an alarm permit?
Many Oklahoma cities require an alarm permit before your system can be dispatched. Check your city's website - most have the form available online. If you're not sure where to look, reach out and we will help you find and file it.
How can I verify a SoSmart employee?
Call our local office at (405) 200-1261 any time and we'll verify an employee on the spot. Every SoSmart technician goes through a background check and extensive training before they ever show up at your home or business.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes. When someone you refer signs up with SoSmart, we pay you a referral bonus once their account activates. The best advertising we get is word of mouth from customers who love the service - we'd rather reward you for that than spend it on billboards. Ask us how to start referring.
